As a chemist, I’ve always attempted to formulate new products with safety in mind; safety to the end user as well as myself. I’ve used a common sense approach to the selection of ingredients for these formulations and the proportions. Ingredients are selected to maximize performance with negligible health, safety and environmental impact.
I believe that I have succeeded in meeting these goals with the new
ecoONE® line of household cleaning products. 
For both the glass cleaner and the kitchen and bath cleaner I have included vinegar in the formula but have enhanced its usefulness by also including mild but effective special emulsifiers and natural essential oils. The oils provide a pleasant scent without the need for artificial fragrances and enhance the efficacy of the products. The emulsifiers are of a type that would be typically used in cosmetic products such as bubble baths and baby shampoo.
In summary, I believe it is possible to provide safe household cleaning products without the use of hazardous ingredients like ammonia and chlorine and the new ecoONE® line is proof that it can be done.
